NOCTURNE
Real-time light, computed. We build shaders, GPU particle systems and generative identities — interfaces that behave less like screens and more like weather.
01 / selected work
Rendered in the last few seasons.
- Halcyon A generative identity that redraws itself per release — the logotype is a live shader, never the same twice.
- Tidal A room-scale water field simulated on the GPU for a permanent museum installation. Visitors push the surface with their shadows.
- Ferrous A million-particle launch film for a hardware release, rendered live in-browser so the press kit was also the product.
- Solaris A raymarched title sequence with no 3D assets, just distance fields and light, resolving from noise into type.

02 / approach
Every project begins as a shader — a few lines of math we push until light starts to behave. We design in motion, in the browser, at full frame-rate, because a still can never tell you how something feels.
-
01
Real-time or nothing.
We build things that respond to a cursor, a scroll, a room, not renders that sit still and wait to be admired.
-
02
The math is the medium.
Noise fields, distance functions and particles instead of stock motion. The technique is the aesthetic; nothing is bolted on.
-
03
Restraint at sixty frames.
One idea, executed until it's inevitable. We keep the frame quiet so the one moving thing can be loud.
